Our take
I picked up a single 1-pound pink dumbbell for some light arm curls while watching TV. The neoprene coating feels nice and doesn't slip, even with sweaty hands. At $11.94, it's reasonably priced for a single weight. However, 1 pound is extremely light — really only useful for very gentle toning or post-injury rehab. If you're looking to build any real muscle, this isn't it. Also, being unbranded and from China, I can't vouch for the coating's longevity. Fine for what it is, but limited.
